A Place for Immodesty?

As he walks in from his date, he is met with a barrage of questions.  Yes, they had a good time.  But he will not be asking her again.

She was wearing jeggings.

A few decades ago, a different girl disqualified herself from further dates from an admirer by her choice to wear a strapless dress to a school dance.

Is it hard to live in a world where indecent fashions are the norm?  Of course it is.  People are social and generally want to conform, to fit in, to help others feel comfortable with them.

Modesty proclaims virtue; immodesty announces immorality.  It is a big "red flag" that tells a man of integrity and discernment to Look Away, Turn Away, Run Away!

Instead of being resentful, concerned mothers could be thankful for immodesty:  it is an effective way unworthy girls can weed themselves out from their sons' attentions.  Their virtuous daughters can also take comfort:  diligence in maintaining standards and gentle goodness will make a good girl stand out like Cinderella in a lineup among a gang of Ugly Stepsisters.

Maybe immodesty has a place.
