My oldest daughter got engaged last week to a wonderful young man. Her fiance was a co-worker at the job she started in January. They are very happy.When I asked him what initially attracted him to her, his first remark surprised me. My daughter is a beautiful and intelligent person, but her fiance first said that he was impressed by the fact that "she was wholesome."
I have heard discouraged and disparaging remarks from some girls who feel that modesty would limit their chances for dating. Dating is all about limits -- it is about narrowing potential marriage partners down to the right one.
Modesty puts everything worthwhile on your side.
